For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:

Junior Shop Drawing Engineer (Egypt) - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for developing and updating 3D reinforcement models for reinforced concrete structures using Revit. The role focuses on accurate reinforcement modeling, coordination, and full data extraction in compliance with structural design and project requirements, under the supervision of senior engineers. Understanding of Level of Development (LOD 300 / 400)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and updating 3D reinforcement models for reinforced concrete structures using Revit
• The role focuses on accurate rebar modeling, coordination with multidisciplinary teams,
• Extraction of quantities in compliance with structural design and project requirements, under the guidance of senior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 2–4 years of experience in shop drawing production and reinforcement modeling
• Understanding of Level of Development (LOD 300 / 400)
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete detailing principles
• Good understanding of BIM workflows and coordination processes
• Revit Structure (Rebar Modeling – mandatory)
• AutoCAD for 2D drawings (ArmaCAD is a plus)
• Microsoft Excel (basic level for quantity take-offs)
