For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:
HVAC Design Engineer(Egypt) - 100% (m/f)
The ideal candidate is a technically accomplished and delivery-focused mechanical engineer with 2-8 years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and coordination of building services and infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical skills.
- Delivery across complex projects.
- Balance of technical depth, multidisciplinary coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
- Candidates with exposure to infrastructure and transportation projects (such as railways or airports) or experience working on GCC-based projects will be given preference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Calculations: Performing heat load calculations and other design activities.
- Design and Drafting: Utilize CAD or Revit software to create HVAC layouts, ductwork, and piping schematics.
- System configuration: Follow code requirements and common practices to produce highly efficient systems.
- Technical Support: Equipment selection (AHUs, Chillers).
- Project Documentation: Preparing submittals, technical documentation, and material take-offs.
- Coordination and delivery of major infrastructure and building projects, including underground structures, metro stations, tunnels, and large-scale facilities.
- Ensure compliance with international and local codes and standards (NFPA, ASHRAE, BS, EN, SBC, etc.).
- Value engineering and energy efficiency across the design process.
