For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:

Senior Design / Technical Architect (Egypt) - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will have: 1- A strong architectural background with proven experience leading design and technical delivery across medium to large‐scale projects. 2- Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM workflows, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams. 3- The ability to translate conceptual ideas into detailed, buildable technical solutions while ensuring compliance with international codes, local regulations, and project standards. 4- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving design issues, clashes, and site-related challenges. 5-Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and tender packages with strong attention to detail and quality. 6- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout all design stages. 7- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior architects, manage design timelines, and ensure high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines. 8- A collaborative mindset, adaptability, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced project environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectural concepts, design strategies, and technical solutions across all project stages, from concept to IFC
• Produce and review detailed architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documentation to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with codes and standards
• Coordinate effectively with structural, MEP, landscape, ID, and other disciplines to ensure integrated and clash-free design packages
• Conduct technical reviews of shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and design change requests, ensuring alignment with project requirements
• Manage design progress, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high-quality output
• Lead value-engineering initiatives and provide practical technical recommendations to optimize cost, performance, and constructability
• Serve as a key point of contact with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to communicate design intent, resolve issues, and support approvals
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior architects and drafting teams to enhance productivity and technical competency
• Oversee BIM coordination activities, participate in design workshops, and ensure adherence to BIM Execution Plans and project standards
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and technical assessments to verify design implementation and address challenges during construction
• Support QA/QC processes by enforcing design quality standards and performing thorough checks before submissions.

  Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in architectural design and technical delivery, preferably on large-scale mixed-use, residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM workflows, Navisworks, and coordination platforms such as ACC or BIM 360.
• Solid understanding of international codes (IBC, NFPA) and regional standards (GCC, UAE, KSA, etc...).
• Proven experience preparing detailed design packages (DD, IFC), shop drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Familiarity with clash detection, model auditing, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Certifications such as LEED GA/AP, PMP, or BIM-related credentials are an advantage..
