For our office in Cairo, we are looking for:

Project Manager (Egypt) - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will have 10–15 years of proven experience in project management, specifically within large-scale infrastructure and transportation projects. They will bring a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and have successfully led cross-functional teams in complex engineering environments. The candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Experience working with public sector clients and adhering to regulatory and safety standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project execution for transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to standards and project timelines.
• Coordinate and lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, and internal teams to manage expectations and ensure transparency.
• Conduct regular progress meetings, reporting, and risk assessments to proactively resolve issues.
• Monitor project performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement measures.
• Support contract negotiation, procurement strategies, and vendor management.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and appropriately stored.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10–15 years of experience in project management, with a focus on MEP and transportation infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems design and execution in large-scale civil projects.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Knowledge of local regulations, permitting processes, and safety standards.
• High proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is required.
