Senior Rail Track Designer– 100% (m/f)

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in both preliminary and detailed design of railway alignment and trackwork. This includes not only proficiency in relevant design software, but also the ability to independently manage work packagescovering design development, documentation, and coordination with other disciplines and clients.

Responsibilities:

· Act as Work Package Manager for railway track and alignment designs across all project phases, from preliminary to detailed design.

· Provide mentorship and technical support to junior and less experienced rail team members.

· Ensure design compliance with local and international railway codes, standards, and regulations.

· Collaborate closely with CAD drafters and multidisciplinary teams, including drainage, hydrology, structures, utilities, and roads.

· Deliver design documentation and reports in accordance with Pini's internal quality control and assurance standards.

· Contribute to the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for track and associated earthworks.

· Perform design verification and checks, including structural analysis of track systems where required.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in railway alignment and track design.

· Proficiency in Bentley Open Rail Designer and Bentley Rail Track; knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.

· Demonstrated ability to manage design work with adherence to established quality control procedures.

· Capable of presenting and defending design work in meetings with clients and stakeholders.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English (written and spoken).

· Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

· Experience in the Middle East is advantageous, though not mandatory.
